PRIVACY: This is our most private unit. There are 3 other units on the property, but you cannot see any other people or units from this location.
STAIRS: There are some rock stairs to traverse and a short, gentle walk in.
CHECK-IN: Seamless self check-in with a door code unique to your stay. We live nearby and are happy to help by phone or message, but we do our best to give guests their privacy.
COLD PLUNGE: Fed by pure, untreated mountain spring water, continuously flowing. Guests with open cuts or compromised immune systems should use their judgment.

The Looking Glass sits on the Roamly Getaways microresort: 35 private acres along the French Broad River, purpose built from raw land to give you an amazing experience. The land runs from the riverbank up to the mountain ridge, with direct river access for canoeing, tubing, and fishing. There are 3 other one-of-a-kind units on the property. This one fully private from the others, and all available to rent if you want to bring the whole crew.

Just minutes away is Brevard, a charming mountain town known as "The Land of Waterfalls," with 200+ waterfalls in the surrounding area. Downtown is full of great restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and shops, and if you're lucky you may spot one of Brevard's famous white squirrels.
The area is a world class destination for mountain biking, road cycling, hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing, and whitewater paddling.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS
We love kids, but this space was intentionally designed for 2 guests, mainly adults. If you'd like a child to sleep on the couch, or want to bring a twin air mattress for one extra person, we allow it. Please note it will be cramped and we don't recommend it, and an air mattress will block the path to the bathroom at night. Extra guests are $25 per person per day, maximum 4 people total. Message us to add extra guests, or contact us about booking all units together.
